A Communist in the White House?

President Obama said during his Presidential campaign, “If you want to know who will be advising me and how I make my decisions, look at who I surround myself with..” and then began to list the people around him. During his Presidential campaign, he had a number of questionable relationships for which he elegantly
sidestepped media scrutiny. Those who raised questions about his relationships with Rev. Wright, Bill Ayers and others, were labeled right winged extremists and part of the Bush propaganda machine.

Obama elegantly dismissed allegations that he launched his campaign at Bill Ayers home. Ayers is a former Weather Underground member who fled the United States after bombing federal buildings in the 1960’s. Later he said he wished he could have set off more bombs and has expressed no remorse.
Today he’s appointed more Czars (a term closely associated with Communist

“In jail, I met all these young radical people of color -- I mean really radical, communists and anarchists. And it was, like, this is what I need to be a part of. I spent the next ten years of my life working with a lot of those people I met in jail, trying to be a revolutionary. I was a rowdy nationalist on April 28th, and then the verdicts came down on April 29th. By August, I was a communist."
Van Jones has disturbing ties to what it seems as a never-ending name changing organization. What is now known as the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights was once known as STORM (Standing Together to Organize a Revolutionary Movement). This self-described Marxist organization has gone through many names changes, but their primary principles haven’t swayed. They’ve become more mainstream to gain legitimacy.

What’s slightly less disturbing is the lack of any journalism on Jones, his criminal record, radical groups and his political background. Where’s the media on this one? If it were Bush who hired a communist, the media’s coverage would have dwarfed in size of Anna Nicole’s death.
